Our Mission

The Vision Of V.O.I.C.E Christian Church We seek to be a community of genuine Christians, followers of Christ, who are not afraid to step outside of our comfort zone in order to be closer in relationship with Him. We seek to be a church that is in unity with God and each other, regardless of race, culture, or social and economic background. We are a church that is intentional about racial and cultural diversity, not only because it is a reflection of what heaven will look like, but also a model of God’s peace and community in the earth. We are a church that is intentional about discipleship because it is the mission of God’s Church. We are a church that is intentional about outreach, evangelism, and missions, as these are some of the primary tools in accomplishing the mission of discipleship, and the command of God (Matt.28:18-20). We are a church that plants churches that will plant more churches. We are a church that is intentional about teaching the full counsel of God’s Word, as it is the primary tool of empowerment, spiritual growth, and knowledge of God. We seek to be a church with an environment of transparency. In doing so, we acknowledge our short comings, never condemning, but holding one another accountable in love, because God does not condemn. We seek to be a church that lives to demonstrate the love of God among one another, so that the world will know who Jesus is, and that the world will know God’s love (John 17:23). We understand what Jesus our Savior meant when He said we must “deny self, take up our cross, and follow Him” (Luke 9:23). We understand what the apostle Paul meant when he said, “in all things we are more than conquers through him who loved us” (Rom.8:37). We not only understand this, but we also take ownership of it and apply these principles to our lives daily. We refuse to accept an attitude of defeat, because Christ has already gained the victory through His work on the cross. We know and walk in the fullness of God’s love, and because of this we are able to genuinely love one another, and our enemies as God commands. In doing so, we are victorious, and are able to overcome and stand against the plans and obstacles set in place by the enemy of our souls, in spite of any unfortunate circumstances that may come our way, because we abide in Christ as Christ is in us, with full confidence that the Father loves us, not only in the present, but for all eternity. We love God, because He first loved us. We are ambassadors of Gods Kingdom, and we will strive to know God more, and conduct ourselves accordingly. We are confident in Christ, because we were created by Him and for Him. We are confident in Christ because we were chosen in Him before the creation of the world (Eph.1:4). We receive and accept our identity in Christ, and we are secure in Him. We know that this is only possible as we surrender our hearts to God in every area of our lives daily. We know that this is a lifelong process, and with that in mind, we practice these principles daily. We have received eternal life in Christ, first and foremost to know God, and as we strive to know Him more through relationship, we understand that everything else in life will fall into place, just as His Word says. As we pursue the heart and knowledge of God, we will receive peace in all of our relationships, finances, work place, families, schools, communities, and all aspects of life. This is the promise of God, as we surrender our hearts to Him. Not because we say or speculate, but because God’s Word, the Bible says so. We stand in and proclaim Gods truth, first in our own lives, and then to the world. We will accomplish our mission, to “go and make disciples”, and we will do so only in the love Christ, as we are empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are and will always be a voice to the world for God, and a direct example of God’s transforming power in mankind on the earth. We are and will always be, Victorious Overcomers In Christ Eternally.
