I am the secretary for First Christian Church and also a member. I have always been amazed at the number of people in this church who are willing to jump in to help others in need. Our members contribute their time and resources to help the unhoused in our community. We have a street ministry, offering our unhoused neighbors an opportunity to shower and have a meal. We have had members who for years have prepared a wonderful meal on Thanksgiving that is open to the community. The warmth and caring are palpable here.
