I moved up from San Diego in 2004 at 28 yrs old and was used to a very large church and singles ministry. Nothing like that exists in YC, but Cornerstone was nearby, super friendly and welcomed me in with my shorts, flip flops and earrings. 14 years later i have four kids and i am married and this church has supported me through my ups and downs. The church is not perfect, nor are the attendees, but they are gracious, loving and love the Lord. I am excited that we have a new pastor and still love the old one who retired and still attends with his wife, kids and grandkids. Small groups are making a comeback, mine is open to all....so pray about it, then come and check it out. I rate it 4 stars because this church will never be perfect, we are all flawed.
