St. Athanasius is a wonderful small congregation with several missions: Feed the Hungry, a Food Bank, a Laundry Love program the third Tuesday of every month, and a Sanctuary Resource Center that helps immigrants. The current Priest is Fr. Frank Alton, who represents both the compassion and social justice Jesus lived and died for. It is a progressive, inclusive church made up of people who genuinely care for each other and for the community. "Love God, love your neighbor, change the world" is a motto the church believes in.
