St Andrew the Apostle parish was awarded the "best place to worship" in the 2016 "Best of Sierra Vista" listing. It has two locations - the main church in Sierra Vista (800 N Taylor), and Good Shepherd mission in Whetstone (Hwy 82). Lively music, powerful preaching, and friendly members enhance Sunday worship, but the parish is alive through the week in daily masses, prayer meetings, scripture study, and service. Along with local outreach (Good Neighbor Alliance, St Vincent de Paul), the parish supports specific mission partners in Haiti and Nepal,as well as other diocese and global mission efforts.
