My family and I have been attended First Southern Baptist Church of Scottsdale (FSBCS) for almost 10 years. We have seen the church go through changes and they are always blessed and we are always impressed. This church family is amazing. They are very friendly, welcoming and encouraging. They have opportunity for fellowship everywhere and there is something for everyone. Daycare for the little ones, bible study for the youth in a setting that entices learning, bible study for the maturing, and bible study for the wise. It's also been a blessing to see the church embrace the community with such welcoming, open arms. Our favorite times of year are Easter and Christmas. Not just because of what they represent, but also for the Passion Play (Easter) and Christmas Play or Musical Presentation (Christmas). Each is organized, written and directed by our Worship Pastor and different each and every year. It is an amazing way of sharing a message thru the use of drama and music. The sermons on Sunday are encouraging, stimulating, and biblically based. We have found that there is always something to learn about the bible and how we can live our lives more Godly and enjoy how the message is presented. This is definitely a church that will satisfy your spiritual thirst while giving you spiritual inspiration. We are happy to call FSBCS our church home.
