I'M WRITING THIS REVIEW TO WARN PEOPLE of the direction I believe this church is going, especially considering we are in the end times and believers are to be aware and not gullible or deceived. In Feb. 2019 the church staff PROMOTED a book titled "John 17, the Heart of God" which the pastor and his wife co-wrote a chapter in. **(The church set-up many tables in the foyer with copies of this book for purchase that day for $10.00.) Clearly the pastor wanted this message to get out!
Read the pages offered in preview on Amazon.com and you will discover that this book is designed to groom people to accept the ecumenical movement, which leads to one world religion. This message is at first subtle and appears to be a loving, but it's extremely dangerous. The good shepherd calls his flock to follow Jesus ONLY and to worship Him is Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24). I believe this new "focus" will lead many astray (because the majority are not biblically sound or informed) and cause confusion in the body of Christ. Today's "popular cultural/social views" become a distraction, as they distance people from the essence of the "true gospel message." It contributes to becoming double-minded and falling away from the One True God - to look to other gods. Do your own research on the dangers of the ecumenical movement. I believe this is the new direction that's being promoted at this church and looked at as a good example to follow. I may be wrong, but I am a mature believer and have spiritual discernment and godly wisdom. Ask God to reveal truth to you and make it plain. Don't be a blind follower. Be informed and aware. Do your due diligence. You do not want to fall away in the end times, as false teachers/teaching leads people astray. The bible tells us to test the spirits to see if they are from God (1 John 4:10). It also tells us there will be many apostates in the end times as this church has now become an "emergent" church! Don't be fooled by what sounds good to the "majority." Believers don't follow the majority - they follow Jesus, and Jesus ONLY. Ask yourself if the truth is being preached here. Jesus did not preach a "social" gospel. True believers don't align themselves with those who refuse to acknowledge that Jesus is the only way to salvation and Lord above all.
