I started thinking that if the pastor would lie saying that he had talked to my grandson, what else would he lie about? So I started an investigation loving baseball myself, and don't get me wrong there are pastors out there that are ex-athletes and might want to hear this story, but this pastor isn't one of them. Through all his years of preaching he would claim that he was an ex-baseball player for a minor league team that owned by the pro-team Giants. With a little bit of digging and a lot of time, MLB shows that John Edward Kusner (Huck) had no affiliation with any minor team. The records they do have is him playing baseball in a high school field for a non-profit team in 1977 and 1978.
