FACC is great for those looking for a solid church that is focused on studying the Bible. It is an Independent Christian Church (former Church of Christ prior to the 80s/90s) which stresses reading the whole Bible and focusing on the full context of the scripture. There is instrument supported worship of both hymns and contemporary songs, though the hymns are usually done in a more upbeat/contemporary style. It is encouraged to get serving in some capacity in the church as soon as you are willing, and there has been a lot of freedom for expanding or working in whatever ministry is weighing on your heart. Lots of opportunities if you are willing!
