King's Church

I have been attending King's Church for about 5 years and have received a truly reformed education from Pastor John, his kind and gentle wife, Linda and the elders. Like any church full of saved sinners, we have had our challenges, but those challenges have been handled with honesty, openness and above all, love. From the first day I knew I had found a church that would not compromise the gospel for anything and would feed the sheep with consistent biblical truth. The word and love of Christ abides there and that is where I need to be!

At the time of my first visit to Kings Church, I knew exactly where Jesus wanted me to be planted and grow as His Daughter. The word of God is presented and delivered by the power of the Holy Spirit through Rev John Samson, plus nothing. No fluff , no frills, only the unadulterated word of God, where growth and hunger for more of Jesus is.cultivated.
The family of God I share, have each filled my heart to overflowing with Christian love. For we all know, we serve.the same heavenly Father.
My understanding and growth in God's word has expanded greatly, leaving me with only one desire in my walk with Christ. That is to know Him, grow in Him and live for Him, which is exactly what is made available through Rev. John Samson at the pulpit of Kings Church.

To make a very long story short . . . I am in my 71st year on this earth. I have been attending King's Church for just over 2 years (previous church was a victim of Covid). I have learned more in these 2 years at King's Church than all the other 69 years combined. I don't mean to say I've learned just for the sake of learning. What I have learned has had a significant impact on living (not sure how much more life on this earth the Lord has planned for me but then none of us do). And here's a clue as to the content of what I've been learning at King's Church. "Discernment is not a matter of simply telling the difference between right and wrong; rather, it is telling the difference between right and almost right." (C. H. Spurgeon) Pastor Samson at King's Church is a discerning teacher/preacher so you WILL hear the truth preached at King's Church (whether it is in season or out of season) and you WILL hear the message of, and the need for, the Gospel every week. You will NOT hear a "short and shallow" message so be ready to dig in. May the Lord bless you in your search for a new church home. A home where you will be an active part of His body.

A very welcoming church focus on teaching from the bible and worshiping in truth.

Covid church closures created opportunity for me to search out a new church home as I had determined my previous church home was more focused on entertainment and being attractional, with the related squandering of the congregations money, than the Gospel and the edification of the body. At King's I
found gold. In my 27 years as a disciple of the Lord I have not had a Shepard that was more committed to preaching the Gospel and enabling the spiritual growth of his flock than Pastor Samson. This is a church that I earnestly desire to invite others to visit as I strongly believe it to be in their spiritual best interest. This is a small, growing for the right reasons, church that I am thankful and excited to be a part of. Do come!!

I have been praying that God would lead me to a greater knowledge of him. He definitely answered my prayers with Kings Church! The people are very welcoming. This is what a church family looks like.

The verse-by-verse exegetical preaching is saturated with the Gospel and informed by two thousand years of church history. Rest assured, one will receive the full counsel of the Scriptures; not merely the cherry-picked parts that are easy to digest. While a confessional church, Holy Scripture is consistently regarded as the ultimate authority, above any tradition or theologian. Ongoing careful consideration is given by the elders to discern how to operate in accordance with the Scriptures (semper reformanda).

The elders strive to equip the church so that we may give an answer (1 Peter 3:15) within today's postmodern world, and the congregants encourage one another to evangelism, and sharpen one another for the daily spiritual warfare. I am thoroughly glad that I was able to find King's Church when relocating to Arizona and welcome others who might be in search of a local church in the area.

When moving to Sun City, along with finding doctors was the need to find a church. Not just a building where people gather, but a place where people shake your hand, ask about your well being, ask to hold you and your loved ones in prayer. And most importantly where the clarity of God's word is explained in detail, where the excitement is stirred in your spirit each visit and where the pastor and the elders are living each day of their lives in the likeness of Jesus , our Savior. When I visited and soon will become a member of
Kings Church, I knew I was home. Home with God's people and home where the word of God is alive!

In today's society it's easy for churches to compromise on true biblical doctrine. Trading fun messages for the word of truth. The community at Kings Church is dedicated to the proclamation of the Gospel and the edification of the Church. The elder team is made up of great teachers and supportive leaders. I'm humble and blessed to be supported by them and under their gracious leadership.
