Webb Baptist Church

I was at a difficult point in my life having recently lost my Dad a year earlier and my Mother had passed recently. I had visited a couple of churches before attending Webb. I hadn't been in church in years, but my Grandmother had shared a love for Jesus and my parents had been believers.
My first visit I encountered really down to earth, loving caring nonjudgmental people. Some folks were in jeans and t-shirts while others were dressed in their "Sunday best". The reception I received was the same from all- friendly and loving.
I attended ladies Bible study the following week and found that nobody thought my questions were stupid and the group as a whole helped answer my questions. This continued for a few months. I felt the Lord pulling on my heart until one Sunday I came forward (I was hesitant at first and had resisted that tug to do so for some time)
I instantly felt the overwhelming love of God and the whole church was happy for me. I became a member and later was baptized. These are some of the finest folks I have ever met and I absolutely adore the Pastor and his wife. The pastor even came to my home a few times when my husband became so ill and was able to lead him to Christ.
The pastor teaches directly from the Bible and doesn't sugar coat any of God's word. You can feel his desire to lead his flock to Christ. He and his wife have been there to emotionally and spiritually support me thru illness and death in my family. I just love them!
I am unable to attend in person now because I have an autistic child to care for, but I am able to listen to sermons on the website. Whenever I am able to attend I am welcomed right back and feel the love and acceptance if I have never missed a Sunday.

We visited 3 times 2 years ago and knew after that we were home. The people welcomed us into their family with open arms.

This is a church that measures up to is slogan. When you walk in, you will be greeted and welcomed by a loving group of people. As you enter the services, you will honor Christ in praise and music, followed by a dynamic sermon that is straight from The Bible. When you walk out, you will know that you have been in the House of the Lord.

Bible-based Church with racially diverse fellowship. Been in the Webb community for over 100 years and has stood the test of time. Great place if you are looking for a family/home church.

This place makes you feel like family from the beginning. There is a study group for everyone, music, and great preaching that is going to make you think and learn. Everyone has an opportunity to serve and be a difference. Come visit!

Webb Baptist church is a super friendly church who love one another and are very welcoming to new-comers and visitors. We are blessed to have a wonderful pastor who preaches exciting messages from the word of God faithfully every week. I've never heard any better preaching anywhere! The music portion of the service is a time when we sing a mix of traditional and modern music. There is a fun, all age choir that comes together preceding the Christmas and Easter seasons for the purpose of sharing our testimonies in music. We don't sing for the sake of singing but our intent is to truly lift up our heartfelt praises to God every week. We have wonderful folks leading our exciting children and youth ministries as well as women's, men's and couples classes. On Wednesday nights we have an affordable meal at 6:00 and then at 6:30 we are involved in life application bible studies. We share prayer requests Wednesday night after the teaching,in the Sunday school classes, via our hot-line and website or maybe one on one in the hallway. This church may truly be one of the best kept secrets in the metroplex!
