St. Jacob parish is located in a business center, in the back row off of a courtyard. From the outside, it looks like any other business in the complex, but don’t let that deter you, because when you walk in the door, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful little Orthodox church! The services are prayerful and Fr. Damian, Mat. Joanna & the parishioners are warm and welcoming. I highly recommend you plan to visit whenever you are in the Bend area! And, if you are looking for a Church home, this little gathering offers Christianity in the way it was passed down from the foundation of the Church ~ Mary H.

I visited St. Jacob when passing through Bend Oregon and had a wonderful experience there. The atmosphere was very welcoming to new comers as everyone was friendly. The service itself was beautiful, we really enjoyed the icons, the music, candle light and incense. Fr. Damian the priest there gave a wonderful sermon that was very inspiring yet relatable which can be hard sometimes to see how teachings apply to modern life - with this he did a great job and we wish we could hear his words on a regular basis! We'll be back for sure!
