Christ centered, Gospel preaching
First of all, Lake Murray Evangelical Church is not a Baptist church and never has been since its founding in 1991. It is an independent, evangelical church where the Bible is faithfully preached and people truly love and care for each other. The music is designed to help to worship God with even some “home grown” songs! There are weekly women’s and men’s Bible studies along with a Wednesday night youth group meeting.
Any visitor to the 10:45 Sunday service will be warmly welcomed and encouraged and will be challenged through the truth of the Gospel of Christ.
Attendance in the past year has increased more than 30%. It is a place where children, youth, and adults are growing in their faith. It truly is a jewel in the town of Chapin!
